Flickering Light
This piece consists of a 5×5 grid of bleached and solarized contact prints and chemigrams.
The prints gradually transition from having a dark to light tonality as the lightened areas morph together and encompass the surface area of each print. For those who suffer from Retinitis Pigmentosa, the retina struggles to respond to light. In these prints, the light that gave one vision was there one moment, but flickered and was gone the next.
